GE Medical Systems Introduces the PET Advantages
Customer Marketing Program
Ready to Use Templates Available
to Promote a PET Facility to Physicians and Patients
ORLANDO, Fla. - GE Medical Systems announced today at the inaugural Academy of Molecular Imaging show the introduction of the PET Advantages Customer Marketing Program, a comprehensive marketing communications program that provides marketing tools needed to promote a positron emission tomography (PET) facility to referring physicians and patients in a given geographical area.
With this program, GE Medical Systems now offers a complete PET solution -- from state-of-the-art imaging equipment to staff education to marketing communications tools -- helping every customer maximize their PET system purchase. "Medical professionals tell us that they need tools to help promote the availability of PET applications to the local physician base and end-user marketplace,” said Dow Wilson, Global General Manager of Functional and Molecular Imaging for GE Medical Systems. “GE Medical’s PET Advantages offers electronic art files of every component in the program, which then can be customized based on customer needs and preferences.”
GE Medical’s PET Advantages provide the communications templates needed for PET installations to launch a go-to-market strategy in their local area. Included in the PET Advantages Customer Marketing Program are specially designed tools ranging from clinical cases and product photos, to a website kit and videotape for referring physicians. The kit also includes hard copy samples and electronic art files for all the components.
“The introduction of PET Advantages targets an array of customers from hospitals, clinics, imaging centers, to mobile PET providers and other sites with new or existing PET scanners interested in launching a marketing campaign to increase PET awareness and physician referral,” said Thomas Hook, General Manager of Global PET for GE Medical Systems. “It will not only
increase patient awareness about the local availability of a PET facility and the benefits of a PET scan, but physicians will be able to learn more about clinical PET applications.”
