Waukesha, Wis. - January 21, 2005 - GE Healthcare today announced that it is hosting a special event on Saturday, Jan. 22 highlighting the company’s groundbreaking technology in computed tomography (CT) angiography for cardiologists. The event will include more than 125 cardiologists and business managers, and will highlight GE’s commitment and leadership in cardiovascular CT. The symposium will feature new advances with GE’s LightSpeed VCT, the world’s first volume CT system, which is able to capture images of the heart and coronary arteries in five heartbeats - something no other CT system can offer.
