Frequently Asked Questions - Account Information
The following questions pertain to online accounts.

1. How can I apply for a user account?
2. How do I find out about my billing account with GE Medical Systems?

1. How can I apply for a user account?
Click on the word Register found in the upper right-hand corner of every page. Follow the instructions through the process filling in all required fields (marked with a red triangle):

  1. Click on “Register”
  2. Create your Profile (fill in all areas marked with red asterisk)
  3. Read “Terms of Use”
  4. Accept the Terms by checking the box for “I Accept the Terms of Use”
  5. Click on “Submit”
  6. If desired, subscribe to SmartMail by clicking on “Accept” and selecting your categories of interest; or else click “Continue”
  7. Select your Healthcare Provider Status
  8. Fill in your nine-digit GE Medical Systems billing account number (if you have an account but don’t know the number you can get it by calling 800-643-6439, option1; if you do not have a billing account number, leave blank]
  9. Click on “Continue”
  10. Fill in your shipping information
  11. Click on “Submit Registration”
Registrations are usually processed within 48 hours. You will be notified by email of your account status. If you have questions or would like assistance with your registration, click on Contact Us to send an email or receive a phone call, or call us at 800-643-6439, option 1. A GE representative is available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time on normal business days.

2. How do I find out about my billing account with GE Medical Systems?
If you need a new billing account number or you need help identifying your existing GE billing account number, click on Contact Us to send an email or receive a phone call, or call us at 800-643-6439, option 1. A GE representative is available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time on normal business days.

3. I need to change my account information. How do I do that?
You can now update your own account information. Click on My Account in the upper right corner of the Home Page and then click on "Update Your Account?" To change your password, go to the section “GE Profile” and click on “Modify or Change Password.” To modify other user information go to the section “GE Medical Systems Profile” and click on “Modify.”

4. What if I forget my User ID or password?
If you forget your password you can reset it by following the procedure below:

  1. Go to the Login Screen by clicking on the “Login” button in the top right-hand corner of most gemedicalsystems,com screens.
  2. Click on “Forgot Your Password?”
  3. Fill in User ID and email address (be sure to use the email under which you registered)
  4. Fill in “Password Challenge Response”
  5. Click on "Submit"
You will be given a system-generated password which you can then use to go into “My Account” (see preceding question) and change your password to one of your own choosing.
