OMNISCAN was launched in Canada in 1994 to provide contrast enhancement of the central nervous system (CNS) to detect lesions of the brain, spinal cord, and associated tissues.
The most frequent adverse events observed during OMNISCAN clinical trials involving 1,293 patients were nausea, headache, and dizziness. These reactions, occurring in 3% or fewer patients, were of mild to moderate intensity.
